Happy Valley is one of the attractive theme parks in China and located in Shenzhen under Guangdong province. The huge area was built for providing all forms of modern entertainment to the local and global visitors and now contains over 100 of different colorful games and sports for different age group of people. The nine thematic areas of the Happy Valley cover about 350,000 square kilometers (83 acres of lands). The theme park was opened for public in 1998 and is the first theme park chain of the Happy Valley in China. Among the thematic areas, Typhoon Bay, Spanish Square, Happy Times, Playa Maya Water Park, Cartoon City, Sunshine Beach etc. are the most popular ones.
Each of the themes is well decorated in their distinctive styles and fashions, and even the names of the themes are after their respective styles. There are different architectural beauties like building, structures and statues also found inside the theme areas.
The Playa Maya Park is available on five months of a year (May to October). The amusement materials of the park are of large quantity, breathtaking and exciting too, and for further enjoyment of the visitors, every day different event and shows of various attractive styles like acrobat show, magic show etc. held at the park. Directions to reach different themes are given at the entrance. There is a cartoon theatre inside the park that runs different films or cartoon shows to. The Cartoon area is a dream house for the kids and children. Bullet Coaster ride is one of the most exciting rides in the Happy Valley. The other areas like Sunshine Beach, Mount Adventures offers you many things to do there.
Traveling to the Happy Valley is easier in Shenzhen in Guangdong province. Different types of vehicle and routs are available to take the visitors there. Public bus, small trains, subway, tour cars or taxicabs are available. If you ride on public bus, make sure you are on the routes 20, 21, 101, 222, 310, 324, or 370 and ride off at the Window of the World Stoppage. The Park is a few minute walk from the bus stop. If you are on the subway, ride off at the Window of the World Station, the park is of short distance.
The Playa Maya Water Park is opened for five months of a year (from May to October). The cartoon castle is best for the kids and children under 12 years and displays different cartoon and film shows for them. Maintain the queue during your entrance. Aged people should avoid the bullet ride. Entrance fee is higher during the daytime and a bit of discount is available in the evening. Keep your swimming tracks with you before your entrance at the park.
The Happy Valley is perfect place to avoid the hustle and bustle of city life in Shenzhen. The breathtaking environment inside the park is adorable and day-long tour is a must here. The climate is super round the year and the park area is neat and clean with modern facilities. The Happy valley opens at 9.30am and closes at 9.00 pm. The park is turns crowded during the weekdays, thus, the visitors are to maintain the queue for the rides and entrance. The 4-D games in Happy Times are wonderful.

From the airport, take bus no. 327 to Shijie Zhichuang (Window of the World) Station, across the street and walk about 3 minutes until you get there.
Take bus no. 21, 26, 32, 70, 79, 90, 101, 113, 123, 204, 209, 222, 223, 234, B795, M398, M486, M487, M488, N4, N6, N24, or PJ17 to Shijie Zhichuang.
