Bellagio Las Vegas is a five-star resort and casino at 3600 South Las Vegas Boulevard, in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. Its Italian lakeside theme is built around an 8-acre lake where the Fountains of Bellagio perform. It suits adults who want a central Strip base with fine dining, pools and shows on foot; guests must be 21 to check in.
Steve Wynn opened Bellagio on 15 October 1998. The fountains send water up to 460 feet into the air in shows set to music, and they are free to watch from the Strip. In the lobby, Dale Chihuly's glass ceiling Fiori di Como covers about 2,000 square feet. The Conservatory, 13,500 square feet and free to enter, changes its display five times a year. Cirque du Soleil's O plays in an 1,800-seat theatre with a pool for a stage.
