Your guide, Arif Chowdhury, grew up in Cox's Bazar and knows the shoreline all the way to Teknaf. He starts early to reach the empty beaches before day-trippers arrive. The day combines a short climb to a hilltop viewpoint, rock pools among coral stones, a fishing village where boats come ashore and a seaside lunch where fried fish is the local favourite. Carry water for the climb in hot months. At Inani the stones are sharp, so wear sandals with firm soles and avoid the rocks when waves break over them. Arif guides in Bangla, English and Hindi.
