Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort is a five-star, ultra all-inclusive beach resort at Iskele Caddesi in Belek, east of Antalya on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Every room is a suite or villa, and with a guests-only beach, a Colin Montgomerie golf course next door and a full kids' programme, it suits golfers, families and couples who want everything on site.
Antalya International Airport (AYT) is about 36 km by road, 40 to 45 minutes by car; Gazipasa-Alanya Airport (GZP) is 148 km. The resort's transfer is charged per vehicle one way for up to four people and must be booked at least 72 hours before arrival. Belek Public Beach is 1 km away and Kadriye Beach 6 km. The golf course is about a minute's drive. Valet parking is free, and accessible parking is available.
The entry categories, Suite Land and Suite Sea, measure about 80 sqm with a balcony and look over the garden or the sea. Family suites, duplex lagoon suites and multi-bedroom villas sit higher up the range. Suites come with a pillow and fragrance menu, a Nespresso and tea set-up, turndown with handmade chocolate and Acqua di Parma bathroom products.
The beachfront is for resort guests only, with a beach club, cabanas, changing rooms, showers, umbrellas, loungers and towels. The main pool, heated seawater pool, lagoon pool and adults' deep pool open from 1 April to 31 October, and the aquapark has water slides. Indoor pools are open all year and heated in cold weather.
The Azure is the food hall and serves the breakfast buffet. À la carte and signature restaurants include Seavore, Kalamatas, Safraan, Bishoku and Bueno Steak House, and Twenty4 serves around the clock. Jay Lounge Bar and Tangerine Beach Club are among the bars.
Maxx Wellbeing Spa has a sauna, steam room, hammam, hot tub and fitness centre. Children have the Maxxi Land area and a kids' club, and babysitting can be booked. Evening shows, tennis, event spaces and helicopter tours are also offered.
The neighbouring course opened for play in September 2008. It is an 18-hole, par-72 layout of about 7,132 yards, and it hosted the Turkish Open in 2013, 2014 and 2015. A floodlit nine-hole short course lets golfers keep playing after dark.
