About the Singapore Tourist Visa from Bangladesh

In short

Ordinary Bangladeshi passport holders need a visa for Singapore. From Dhaka you apply online through one of the Singapore High Commission's Authorised Visa Agents; the visa fee is SGD 30, paid in taka with the agent's own charge on top, and processing takes at least 5 working days.

Singapore does not take visa applications from Bangladesh directly. The High Commission in Dhaka works through Authorised Visa Agents, travel companies it has approved, and lists them with their addresses on its website. The agent submits your application online, collects the visa fee and prints your e-Visa when it is issued. A local contact in Singapore, a citizen, permanent resident or company, can also apply for you through the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

Every applicant fills in and signs Form 14A, and the High Commission's checklist includes a Letter of Introduction (Form V39A) from a local contact in Singapore. You can ask for a multiple-journey visa, but the High Commission may issue a single or double-journey visa instead. How long you may stay is decided at the checkpoint when you arrive and written on your visit pass, not by the visa itself.

The visa fee is SGD 30, paid in taka and not refunded; the agent adds its own service charge. Allow at least 5 working days, more in busy seasons or if a document is missing, and apply no earlier than 30 days before you arrive. If the visa is refused, no reason is given, but you can appeal for a reassessment through your agent.
