Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is a five-star, 221-villa resort on a private island of about 52 acres in the Noonu Atoll, in the north of the Maldives, about 19 km from Maafaru International Airport. It opened in 2007 and was renovated in 2025. Families and couples who want a big island with plenty of water sports book it.
Deluxe Beach Villas of about 125 m² have a king bed and a sofa bed. Pool Beach Villas of about 140 m² add a private pool. Horizon Water Villas, also with a pool, stand over the lagoon. Villas have air conditioning, a minibar, a refrigerator and free Wi-Fi, all face the sea and most are non-smoking.
The resort counts fifteen places to eat and drink. Chinese and Japanese restaurants, a café, beach and pool bars and room service cover the everyday meals. The breakfast buffet runs from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM and costs about USD 39 per adult and USD 20 per child aged 15 and under when not in the rate. It includes Halal, vegan and gluten-free choices.
There are two outdoor pools, one of them adults-only. The spa uses Thalgo France products, lists more than 165 treatments and has a resident Ayurvedic doctor and a sauna. There is also a gym, yoga and tennis. Sun Diving School, about 310 m from the main area, runs diving and snorkelling, and windsurfing and sailing are offered too. A marine biologist leads conservation snorkelling trips on the house reef.
The kids' club has a playground and a water slide, and childcare can be arranged. Under the resort's "Kids are Kings" offer, up to two children under 15 sleep and eat free when they share a villa with two adults; check whether your rate includes it.
