One of the major tourist attractions in China is the Splendid China theme Park located at the Shenzhen of Guangdong province in China. It is a miniature to represent China at a glance. The park is separated into two parts. One is the representation of the geographical locations of the Peoples Republic of China with establishments and structures and the other one represent the art, culture, customs and history of China. The park is managed by the China Travel Services. About 100 different tourist attractions have been replicated at the Splendid Park on a map of China. The entire park covers an area of 30 hectares of lands to represent the collections and exhibitions.

There are trains and car services available inside the park for visitor transportation and the routes lead to the most attractive spots like the Forbidden City, Great Wall of China, Potala Palace etc. Besides, different Chinese shows of different historical, cultural and folk events are also held inside the park at different times. Such a theme park was built in Florida in 1993 with the similar models and has been closed in 2003. The structure replicas are made in detail of their real ones (so that there is no chance of misconceptions about the structures) and placed according to their locations on the map of China inside the park to make the real locations more familiar to the visitors. The structures were made with the best specialists of architecture in China after heavy research. The presence of foliage inside the garden is notable.  

The Splendid China is located at the Shenzhen Bay in the OCT (Overseas Chinese Town). It is accessible in different ways. It takes about 30 to 35 minutes to reach there by train or by public bus ride from different corners of the Shenzhen city. If you ride on subway, ride off at the Overseas Chinese Town Station, use the exit- D, walk for a few minutes, you are there. If are on sightseeing bus, ride on the routes 21, 105, 209, 210, 301 etc. and get off at the Splendid China stoppage. Taxicab service is also available from anywhere of the town.

Spend at least two hours inside the park, and it is better to visit during the festival times, it will help to learn more and interesting topics about China. Do not miss the shows and events you get during your visit particularly the horse warrior show, dancing and fashion show. Moreover, you can ride on the adventure trips at the park like travelling at the Grand Canyon, archery like the North American Indians, cable car ride in tropical forest, skiing and more.
