Mulia Resort is a five-star, 523-room beachfront resort on Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan in Sawangan, at the southern end of Nusa Dua on Bali's Bukit peninsula. It opened in 2012 next to The Mulia and the Mulia Villas, and its gardens lead straight onto the beach. Families, wedding parties and travellers who want several pools and restaurants in one place book it.
Mulia Grandeur Deluxe and Mulia Signature Ocean Court rooms both measure 59 m², with a king bed or twin beds, a bathtub and a balcony or patio. Royal Suites are 83 m² with extra living space. Views take in the gardens, the pools or the sea, every room is non-smoking and Wi-Fi is free.
The Mulia lists nine restaurants and bars in Bali. The Cafe runs the international buffet and Soleil cooks Asian and Mediterranean dishes. The other names are Table8, Edogin, Cannelé, Cascade Lounge, The Bar and Sky Bar, and the resort also runs gourmet brunches and fine-dining evenings.
When breakfast is not in the rate, the buffet costs about IDR 556,000 for guests aged 12 and over and IDR 350,000 for children aged 6 to 11. Children aged 5 and under eat free.
Five outdoor pools include a lagoon-style pool and a children's pool. Mulia Spa has hydrotherapy pools, a Finnish sauna, an aroma steam room and what the resort calls Asia Pacific's first Ice Room. Guests can also use a free gym, a movement studio for yoga and two tennis courts. The kids' club and playground keep younger children busy, and two ballrooms and 15 conference rooms host weddings and conferences.
The resort's own beach runs for about 1 km, with calm water and sunrise views. Travel + Leisure Asia Pacific named it the best beach resort in Indonesia in its 2025 Luxury Awards.
Geger Temple is about 570 m from the resort and Nusa Dua Beach about 580 m, with Geger Beach a little further at 630 m. Kuta Beach is about 15 km away. Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is 14 km by road, around 20 minutes by car, and transfers run 24 hours for a fee.
