Icon of the Seas
Icon of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's first Icon-class ship, sailing seven-night Caribbean cruises from Miami, Florida. She is aimed squarely at families and multi-generation groups who want a resort at sea with something for every age. She entered service in January 2024 and carries 5,610 guests across 20 decks. When she launched, Icon of the Seas was the largest cruise ship in the world, and she was Royal Caribbean's first ship powered by liquefied natural gas. Her sister, Star of the Seas, followed in 2025. The ship is organised into neighbourhoods, each with its own character. The AquaDome on deck 15 is a glass dome over the AquaTheater, with a waterfall and restaurants around it. Deck 20 holds Category 6, the ship's water park, while decks 16 and 17 have Thrill Island, Chill Island with its pools, mini golf and the FlowRider surf simulator. Central Park on deck 8 is an open-air garden lined with restaurants and shops. Surfside on deck 7 is built for young families, with the Splashaway Bay splash area. The Royal Promenade runs along decks 5 and 6 with bars, shops and parades, and deck 4 has the casino and the Absolute Zero ice arena. Cabins range from interior and ocean view rooms to balconies and suites on the upper decks. The sailings below show current dates from PortMiami.
