Prices & payment
No card payment is taken on the site. At checkout you choose one of two options:
- Cash on delivery: you pay when the parcel arrives
- Pay by link: once we have confirmed your order, we email you a secure payment link
Prices in the shop are shown in US dollars.
A range means the price depends on the size, version or kit, such as the waterproof version of a shoe costing more. Choose the colour on the product page and write the size or version you want in the note at checkout. The exact price is confirmed when we confirm your order.
General
No. Add items to your cart and go to checkout, where you enter your name, email, phone number and delivery address, choose how to pay and add a note if you need to. An account is only needed if you want to write a product review.
You get an order number starting with BM-SHOP and a confirmation page, and the same details are sent to your email with a link back to the order. Our team then checks availability and confirms the order by email before anything is dispatched. If you chose to pay by link, we email the secure payment link once the order is confirmed.
The checkout lets you enter an address in any country. Because delivery is quoted per order, the cost and expected date for your address are confirmed in our reply before the order is sent. If you are unsure, ask before you buy using Ask an expert on the product page.
The return terms are shown in the Returns box on each product page. The footwear in the shop at the moment, for example, can be returned unused, in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. Contact us first to arrange a return rather than sending the item back unannounced.
Where the maker gives one, the warranty is listed on the product page; the products in the shop at the moment carry manufacturer warranties of one to two years. To ask how a claim works for a particular item, use Ask about returns on this page.
Yes, in two ways. Ask a question on a product page posts your question publicly, and the shop team answers it there for other buyers too. For advice on your own trip, such as which bag meets your airline's cabin limit, use Ask an expert; your details are used only to answer you.

Timing & weather
Each product page shows when the item usually ships and how long delivery normally takes. Where an item has a fixed delivery charge it is added at checkout; otherwise the cost and delivery date are confirmed by email before dispatch, so you know the full amount before you pay.
