The Golap Gram (গোলাপ গ্রাম) is very close to Dhaka, located on the banks of the Turag River in Sadullapur, Savar. To get there from any part of Dhaka, first, you need to head to Gabtoli. From Gabtoli Bus Stand, take any bus that will drop you near the overbridge at Savar Bus Stand. Cross the overbridge and then proceed towards Birulia Union's road on the eastern side.
From there, you can take a battery-powered Hello Bike for a fare of 20 Taka to reach the dreamlike beautiful Golap Gram (গোলাপ গ্রাম).
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Konabari Bus Stand, located in front of Shah Ali Mazar in Mirpur, to Akram Bazar for a fare of 20 Taka. From Akram Bazar, you can take an auto for 10 Taka to Sadullapur village. If you prefer to go by your own vehicle, you can follow this route.
If you're coming from Savar, you can take a Laguna or mini-bus from in front of Savar Chowrangi Market to Akram Bazar. From there, take an auto to Sadullapur village.
For those who don't know how to swim, extra caution should be taken when traveling by boat. Also, if you plan to travel by boat, it’s advised to return before 7 PM.
Golap Gram (গোলাপ গ্রাম) offers rows of beautiful rose gardens. You can see fresh, blooming roses, touch them, and smell their fragrance. If you like, you can buy a large bunch of roses for 15-30 Taka as a gift for "them" (they’ll be really happy :3).
Most of the village is filled with rose gardens. Along with the popular Mirinda variety, you’ll also find many rare rose species here.
Besides roses, you’ll also see gardens with flowers like Gladiolus, Gerbera, and Tuberose. However, these flowers may not be available throughout the year. No worries though—roses are available year-round.
For those of us living in Dhaka, we feel a strong pull towards rural environments and atmospheres. When you visit the Golap Gram (গোলাপ গ্রাম), you’ll get to experience the full charm of a rural setting.
Along the road to the Golap Gram (গোলাপ গ্রাম), you'll see rows of rose gardens on either side, a view that’s truly enjoyable.
This village, located along the banks of the Shitalaksha River, has winding, hilly paths running through it. You can walk through the village's narrow paths and fields, enjoying the sunset. It will definitely be a memorable experience.
Sadullapur, or the Golap Gram (গোলাপ গ্রাম), is located within Birulia Union in Savar. While you’re in the area, you can also visit the Birulia Zamindar House comfortably. Additionally, you might want to check out the famous Mini Zoo at Lake Island.
