In short

İstinye Park is an upscale shopping centre in İstinye, Sarıyer, on the European side of Istanbul near the Bosphorus, opened in 2007 and one of the first in the city to combine an enclosed mall with an open-air street. It has about 290 stores, a landscaped park and a Turkish food bazaar. Entry is free, and visitors spend two to four hours.

İstinye Park stands in the İstinye neighbourhood of Sarıyer, on the European side of Istanbul, near the Bosphorus and close to the main road between Levent and the northern suburbs. It opened in 2007 and was developed by the Doğuş Group with Orjin Group.

It was one of the first malls in Istanbul to combine an enclosed centre with outdoor shopping streets, and it quickly became one of the city's main destinations for luxury fashion.

The centre has about 290 stores across a retail area of about 85,000 square metres, with four levels of underground parking. The enclosed part has a large glass-domed atrium and is home to international luxury and premium brands. The open-air section is designed like a town street, with shops, cafes and restaurants facing a green central park with lawns and water features. A covered food bazaar, inspired by traditional Turkish markets, sells fresh produce, spices, cheese, sweets and ready-made dishes. A cinema and children's play areas complete the mix.

The surrounding area is mainly residential and business, so the mall is used by locals as much as by visitors. The Bosphorus shore at İstinye and Emirgan is a short drive away.

Entry is free and the centre is open daily from morning until late evening. Tourists can claim VAT refunds on eligible purchases with a passport.
