Margaritaville at Sea Islander
Margaritaville at Sea Islander is a Jimmy Buffett-themed cruise ship sailing short cruises to Mexico from Port Tampa Bay, Florida. She is the larger of the line's two ships and suits travellers who want the Margaritaville mood on a longer trip. Built in 2000 as Costa Atlantica, she has sailed for the line since June 2024 and carries 2,210 guests across 12 passenger decks.
Islander added more space, more cabins with balconies and longer itineraries to a line that started with two-night Bahamas trips. Even the decks carry the theme, with names such as Changes in Attitude, Last Mango and 5 O'Clock Somewhere, from Coral Reef on deck 1 up to Nothin' But Breeze, the observation deck, on deck 12. Tampa suits travellers from the west coast of Florida, who can drive to the terminal and skip the trip across the state to Miami or Port Canaveral.
Deck 9 (5 O'Clock Somewhere) is where most guests spend the day, with the Lido, pools and spa. Deck 11 has the sports area. Lower down, the lobby, restaurants and casino share deck 2 (Flip Flop), and shops line the promenade on deck 3. The kids club is on deck 5.
Cabins come as interior, ocean view, balcony and suite. From Tampa the ship reaches ports such as Cozumel and Progreso in Mexico; the sailings below show current routes and dates.
