What is on the menu

The kitchen works with everyday Bangladeshi food rather than a fusion menu. Street snacks such as chotpoti and fuchka sit next to rice dishes like kacchi biryani and bhuna khichuri, and hilsa (ilish), the fish most closely tied to Bengali cooking, also features.

If these names are new to you, chotpoti is a tangy chickpea and potato dish topped with egg and tamarind water, and fuchka is a crisp hollow shell filled with spiced potato and sour water. Kacchi biryani layers raw marinated mutton with rice so both cook together in a sealed pot.
