Doha Quest

Doha Quest is an indoor theme park inside Doha Oasis, a mixed-use development in the Msheireb area of central Doha. It opened in July 2021, after a period of soft opening, as Qatar's first large indoor theme park. The park covers around 32,000 square metres.

Because it is fully indoors and air-conditioned, the park was designed for year-round use in Qatar's climate. It is divided into three themed zones: Oryxville, City of Imagination and Gravity, each with its own rides, games and decor.

The best-known ride is the EpiQ Coaster, built by Premier Rides, which at about 57 metres is recognised by Guinness World Records as the tallest indoor roller coaster in the world. Magma Blast, a drop tower about 56 metres high, holds the record for the tallest indoor drop tower ride. Alongside these are more than 30 other rides and attractions, from family rides and simulators to virtual reality experiences and games for young children.

Doha Oasis also includes hotels, restaurants and shops, so the park is often combined with dining in the same complex. It is a short walk from Msheireb Downtown Doha and close to Souq Waqif.

Entry is by ticket, with different passes depending on which rides are included, and the biggest rides have height and health restrictions. Msheireb station, the interchange of the Doha Metro Red, Green and Gold lines, is nearby. Check current opening hours before visiting, as they vary between weekdays, weekends and school holidays.

How much is a Doha Quest ticket? Standard tickets sold through the park's official ticket partner, Platinumlist, cost from QAR 235 for visitors aged 13 and over and from QAR 160 for children aged 4 to 12. Promotional offers often cut the price, sometimes below QAR 170 for adults, and combination tickets with Meryal Waterpark are also sold. Check the live rate before booking, as prices change with promotions and pass type.

Platinumlist lists opening hours of 10am to 10pm from Friday to Wednesday, but other listings give different schedules, and hours change during Ramadan and school holidays. Confirm the day's hours before you go.

Planning the day. The EpiQ Coaster and Magma Blast have the strictest height and health limits, so check them before buying a full pass for younger children. Weekday mornings in term time are the quietest. Doha Oasis also holds hotels and restaurants, and Souq Waqif is about 10 minutes away on foot for dinner afterwards.
