PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering is a five-star hotel at 3 Upper Pickering Street in Singapore, on the edge of the Central Business District beside Chinatown. Its terraced sky gardens hold about 15,000 m² of greenery and an urban farm. Clarke Quay MRT is about 380 m away, which makes the hotel practical for business stays, city breaks and short stopovers.
Rooms fall into three groups: Urban, Lifestyle and Signature. Entry rooms include Urban Deluxe and Lifestyle Premier, and Signature Executive rooms sit higher up the range. COLLECTION Club rooms come with club privileges. Suites run from the Urban, Lifestyle and Signature Suites to the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Suite. Rooms face the city or the gardens.
The Singapore practice WOHA designed the hotel with the developer UOL, and it opened in January 2013 as PARKROYAL on Pickering with 367 rooms. Planted terraces and cascading greenery cover roughly twice the site's land area. Rainwater is collected and reused, automatic sensors control energy and water use, and solar cells power the landscape lighting. The building holds the BCA Green Mark Platinum, the top grade in Singapore's green building scheme. The hotel has since been named the World's Leading Green City Hotel, and the 2025 MICHELIN Guide gave it one MICHELIN Key.
Children of all ages are welcome. A cot can go into any room type and is free for children aged 2 and under, but extra beds cannot be added.
Pool, gym and spa are grouped together on level 5. The infinity pool runs along the garden terrace, the fitness centre is next to it and the St. Gregory spa offers massages and treatments. The floor was upgraded in October 2026, so ask the hotel about current opening hours when you book.
Lime Restaurant is the main place to eat and serves the breakfast buffet, which covers Western, Chinese, Asian and local dishes with vegetarian options and some à la carte plates. Lime Bar handles drinks, and in-room dining is available. For conferences and weddings there is a ballroom with a 16-metre LED wall and a set of smaller meeting rooms.
Chinatown is about 500 m away on foot and Clarke Quay about 740 m, with Clarke Quay MRT station closer still at 380 m. Marina Bay and Raffles Place are a few minutes away by car or train. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 PM. Pets are not allowed.
