Tagines, couscous and Moroccan spicing
The kitchen cooks Moroccan food with careful, balanced spicing. Tagines are slow-cooked in the traditional clay pot, couscous comes with meat and vegetables, and jawhara, a layered Moroccan dessert, is the usual way to finish. Mint tea is served in the hotel lounge. As in most hotel restaurants in the souq, no alcohol is served, and the drinks list leans on fresh mocktails. Prices sit in Michelin's lowest band for Doha.

The dining room is small and decorated in Moroccan style. The hotel is one of the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli, on a pedestrian street, and Souq Waqif Metro station is a short walk away, with parking nearby for drivers. An early dinner leaves time to walk the souq lanes and the falcon market afterwards.
