Suptadhara
The second fall in the same eco park.
Sohosrodhara is a seasonal waterfall in the Chandranath Reserve Forest inside Sitakunda Eco Park, about 35 km north of Chattogram, reached by a long brick path and a short steep descent from the main gate. Entry is through the eco park, whose gate hours we could not confirm. Monsoon visitors often pair it with Suptadhara in the same park, spending two to three hours.
Sohosrodhara Waterfall is a seasonal fall inside Sitakunda Eco Park, Sitakunda upazila, Chattogram district, Bangladesh, about 35 km north of Chattogram city. It suits monsoon visitors who are happy to follow a long brick path and a short, steep descent, often pairing it with Suptadhara in the same park.
The park lies east of the Dhaka to Chattogram highway and covers part of the Chandranath Reserve Forest, a band of evergreen hill forest that runs up to Chandranath Hill and its temple, about 4 km away. The Forest Department declared the eco park in 1998 in degraded forest of the old Chandranath reserve and describes it as the first eco park in Bangladesh.
Sohosrodhara means a thousand streams. In the monsoon the water comes down a steep rock face in many separate strands and gathers in a small pool before running down the gorge. Outside the rainy season the flow drops to a trickle and the fall can almost disappear.
A brick road of about five kilometres leads from the park gate into the hills, past viewpoints and picnic spots. The last section leaves the road and drops steeply to the stream over wet clay and roots, so wear shoes with grip.

The road through the park climbs through forest toward the fall.
The hilltop temple is a short ride away in Sitakunda.
A brick path covers most of the way; the last part to the fall is steep and slippery.
