What to expect

Sky Angkor Airlines is a small Cambodian airline with a strong South Korean customer base. It was founded in 2010 as Skywings Asia Airlines, a joint venture of Korean and Cambodian investors, and flew its first service on 13 June 2011 with a McDonnell Douglas MD-83 on a Siem Reap, Seoul Incheon, Hanoi loop. The first Airbus A320 arrived in July 2011, and the airline took the Sky Angkor name on 30 November 2014. Mak Rady is chief executive. Its website is published in Korean and English, and it keeps a sales office in Seoul as well as one in Thailand.

Bases in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh

Siem Reap was the original base, and the airline now also flies from Techo International, the airport that replaced the old Phnom Penh International in 2025. Its busiest route today is Phnom Penh to Seoul Incheon, scheduled up to daily over the 2026/27 winter, alongside Changsha and Guangzhou in China.

Is Sky Angkor still flying to Bangkok?

Bangkok is listed but unconfirmed for winter 2026/27. Sky Angkor announced daily A321 flights from Phnom Penh to Bangkok in April 2022, starting on 6 May that year, and added a Don Mueang service in 2023, and the route listed for Thailand is Phnom Penh Techo to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. The airline's own published timetable for the coming winter shows only its Seoul and Changsha services, and the English Wikipedia destination list marks both Bangkok airports as terminated, so check that a ZA departure appears in the booking engine for your dates. Air Cambodia, Cambodia Airways and other carriers fly the same pair. Compare them on Phnom Penh to Bangkok flights and Bangkok to Phnom Penh flights; for Angkor Wat itself, see Bangkok to Siem Reap flights.

Sky Angkor has no flights to Bangladesh. From Dhaka, Dhaka to Bangkok on Biman, US-Bangla or Thai Airways connects with flights on to Phnom Penh.

Beyond Seoul and China, the airline's published destination list includes Shanghai Pudong, Macau and Gaya.
