BG207 runs twice a week. It starts in Dhaka and lands at Osmani to pick up more passengers, so when you board in Sylhet the cabin is already half full. Pick your seat as early as Biman's booking system allows, particularly for a window or to sit with family.

Bangladeshi passport holders need a UK visa issued in advance and a passport with six months or more left. Staff at Osmani check both before giving a boarding pass, so sort the visa before booking the seat.
Check-in at the current Osmani terminal
You will use the existing terminal. A replacement with six boarding bridges and 36 check-in counters is due in December 2027; until then, allow time for the check-in queue when a wide-body is loading.
Skylink and trains from Manchester Airport
The airport is about 11 km south-west of the city. A covered Skylink with lifts and moving walkways leads from the terminals to the railway station, about five minutes from Terminal 3 and ten from Terminal 2. Trains to Manchester Piccadilly take around 20 minutes and run every 10 minutes, seven days a week, from 04:12 until 01:34. Metrolink trams also run from the airport.
For Oldham or Rochdale, public transport means at least one change: a train or tram into the city, then the Metrolink line out. With 46 kg, many families arrange a car to the door.
Biman also links Osmani with London Heathrow, which suits relatives in the South East or the Midlands. For Bradford, Oldham, Rochdale or Manchester itself, this flight saves a long trip north from London.
