Etihad's winter timetable and EY424

Etihad Airways is the only airline flying the route. It grows the schedule for the northern winter: for 2026/27, Abu Dhabi to Krabi was planned to rise from 8 to 10 weekly flights from 26 October 2026, then to 14 a week from 16 December 2026. EY424 leaves Abu Dhabi at 08:40 and reaches Krabi at 18:05 local time; EY422 departs at 20:55 and lands at 06:20 the next morning. Summer frequency is lower, so check dates in the search above.

Changing from Etihad's Europe flights in Terminal A

Zayed International Airport (the former Abu Dhabi International) handles all flights from its new Terminal A. The airport is about 30 km from central Abu Dhabi by taxi or bus. Travellers connecting from Etihad flights from Europe or Africa stay within Terminal A.

40 minutes to Ao Nang after immigration

Krabi International Airport lies east of Krabi Town. One terminal complex handles domestic and international flights, and international passengers clear immigration on arrival. Ao Nang, where most hotels are, is about 40 minutes away by taxi or shared minivan. For Railay, take a long-tail boat from Ao Nang beach. The overnight EY422 lands early enough to catch a morning boat.

Thailand's 30-day rule for UAE and European citizens

Since 15 September 2026, Thailand gives 30 days without a visa to citizens of 60 countries and territories, including the United Arab Emirates and most European countries. The earlier 60-day exemption has ended. UAE residents with other passports should check their own nationality on our Thailand visa page.
