Biman's Boeing 737-800 operates BG151 on Fridays at 21:00, reaching Sharjah just before midnight. Sharjah is two hours behind Bangladesh.
Air Arabia sells low-cost tickets. You get a 20 kg checked bag and 7 kg in the cabin, and meals on board are paid for separately. Biman includes 30 kg checked, which makes its weekly Friday flight the one to choose when you are carrying a full case.

The airport lies about 13 km east-southeast of Sharjah city. If you are heading on into Dubai, allow for the evening traffic on the roads between the two emirates; at rush hour the drive can stretch to two hours.

The present airport opened on 1 January 1977, replacing RAF Sharjah, an airfield from 1932 that lay closer to the city. Today it serves Sharjah, Ajman and Dubai, and it remains Air Arabia's home.
Chattogram also has nonstops to Dubai on flydubai, Biman and US-Bangla, and to Abu Dhabi. Landing in Dubai is the closest alternative for Sharjah and Ajman, though the road between the emirates can be slow in the evening.
Most people take a taxi or are collected by their employer, as the airport is the natural gateway for Ajman as well as Sharjah. Agree on a meeting point outside arrivals before you fly, since phones may take a few minutes to connect on landing.
