Singapore to Krabi flight guide
Singapore to Krabi is a 932 km nonstop Scoot flight of about 1 hour 40 minutes from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to Krabi International Airport (KBV). It is a short hop from Singapore to Thailand's Andaman coast, landing near Ao Nang, Railay and the islands.
Scoot is the only carrier on the route and sells low-cost fares that include a cabin bag. Checked luggage, seats and meals cost extra. For a long weekend with hand luggage, the basic fare works well; climbers and divers carrying gear should add a checked bag at booking.
Changi Airport MRT station (CG2) connects via Tanah Merah on the East West Line or Expo on the Downtown Line. The first train is at 5:31 am, 5:59 am on Sundays and public holidays, so very early departures need a taxi. Public buses 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858 serve the terminals, and fares are paid by contactless card or exact cash. Changi has four terminals; check yours on the booking.
Krabi International Airport is east of Krabi Town. Ao Nang, where most visitors stay, is about 40 minutes away by taxi or shared minivan. Longtail boats to Railay leave from Ao Nang beach, as Railay has no road. Krabi Town is nearer the airport and has the ferry pier for Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi.
All non-Thai nationals must submit the TDAC online at tdac.immigration.go.th within the three days before arrival. It replaced the paper TM6 card on 1 May 2025. Royal Thai Embassy guidance says immigration will not process an arrival without it and that the card can be filed before a visa is issued. It is not a visa; our Thailand visa page explains who needs one.
Thailand is one hour behind Singapore all year, so you gain an hour on the way.
The best months are about November to April, when the sea is calm for trips to Phi Phi, Hong and the Four Islands and the climbing walls at Railay are dry. The monsoon from May to October brings rain and swell and fewer boat trips, but lower hotel prices.
Fly out on Friday evening and back on Sunday or Monday night. File the TDAC from Wednesday for a Friday arrival. If you land after dark, book the road transfer in advance, and stay in Ao Nang on the first night if you are heading to Railay, so the boat crossing happens in daylight.
Singapore school holidays in June and December, and the Chinese New Year break, are busy on this route.
On the way back, everyone clearing Singapore immigration, residents arriving by air included, submits the SG Arrival Card within three days before arrival, free on the ICA website or MyICA app. Changi's taxis run 24 hours a day.
Leaving Krabi for home, allow about 40 minutes from Ao Nang to the airport, plus the longtail from Railay, and arrive early for Thai emigration. Changi's MRT runs into the city until 11:18 pm, and taxis queue at all four terminals through the night, with a 50 per cent surcharge from midnight to 6 am.
Ferries link Krabi with Phuket, Phi Phi and Lanta, and domestic flights go to Bangkok. Suvarnabhumi has many onward routes, including those on our Bangkok to Dhaka flights page, and Changi's own routes include Singapore to Dhaka flights.
