Singapore to Bangkok flight guide
Several airlines fly nonstop from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to Bangkok: Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International and Scoot into Suvarnabhumi (BKK), and Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air into Don Mueang (DMK). The 1,416 km flight takes about 2 hours 15 minutes. For people living in Singapore, it is one of the quickest and cheapest holiday trips, and full-service and low-cost airlines compete hard for it.
Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways include checked baggage and a meal. Scoot, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air charge for those on top of the fare. For a weekend with hand luggage, the low-cost carriers usually win; for a family with suitcases, add the bag fees before deciding.
Changi has four terminals; check yours on the booking before you set off. The MRT reaches the airport from the city in about 30 to 40 minutes, and taxis and Grab serve every terminal. Allow time to visit Jewel if you want to, as it connects to Terminals 1 to 4 through the airport's transfer routes.
All non-Thai passengers complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before landing. It is free on tdac.immigration.go.th and opens three days before arrival.
Singapore passport holders are on Thailand's 30-day visa-exemption list from 15 September 2026, and Singaporeans are also exempt from the cap of two land-border entries a year. Foreign residents of Singapore should check their own passport's category on the Thai e-Visa portal or on our Thailand visa page.
Suvarnabhumi lies about 25 km east of central Bangkok. The Airport Rail Link runs to Phaya Thai in about 27 minutes and meets the BTS Skytrain; Makkasan connects to the MRT Blue Line. Metered taxis and Grab wait outside arrivals. Bus 389 runs to Pattaya from Exit 8 on the first floor between 10:00 and 18:00 for 130 baht.
Don Mueang is north of the city. The A1 bus runs via BTS Chatuchak to Mo Chit 2 from 06:50 to 23:59, and the A2 via Chatuchak to Victory Monument from 05:00 to 22:00; both cost 30 baht and leave from Gate 6 on the first floor of the international terminal. The SRT Red Line runs from the airport to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, where it meets the MRT Blue Line.
For the return, file the SG Arrival Card within three days before arrival in Singapore, counting the arrival day. It is free on the ICA e-service or the MyICA Mobile app. Singapore citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders are exempt only when entering through the Woodlands or Tuas land checkpoints.
The Dhaka flights on Biman, US-Bangla and Thai Airways leave from Suvarnabhumi (see Bangkok to Dhaka flights). If you land at Don Mueang, allow time to cross the city and check in again. Singapore also has direct flights to Bangladesh: see Singapore to Dhaka flights.

Practical points for booking this route.
Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK) are far apart. Low-cost flights on this route use Don Mueang, so match the airport to your hotel or connecting flight before you pay.
Scoot, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air charge for checked baggage. It is cheaper added online at booking than at the airport.
Put your dates into the search above and compare the price with baggage, seats and meals included, not just the base fare.
Apply for the Thai e-Visa online well before you fly and fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card in the 72 hours before landing; airlines check both at check-in.

Getting there
Flights land at both Bangkok airports: several airlines at Suvarnabhumi, and Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air at Don Mueang. Schedules change by season, so check the flights for your dates in the search above.
About 2 hours 15 minutes in the air. The two airports are 1,416 km apart in a straight line; actual times vary a little by airline, aircraft and wind.
Both. Several airlines use Suvarnabhumi (BKK); two use Don Mueang (DMK). The airports are on opposite sides of the city, so check the code on your ticket.
Suvarnabhumi lies about 25 km east of central Bangkok. The Airport Rail Link runs to Phaya Thai in about 27 minutes and meets the BTS Skytrain there; Makkasan station connects to the MRT Blue Line. Metered taxis and Grab wait outside arrivals. Don Mueang is north of the city. The SRT Dark Red Line stops at the airport and runs to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal (Bang Sue), where it meets the MRT Blue Line; airport buses and metered taxis cover the rest of the city.
Yes. Biman, US-Bangla and Thai Airways fly Bangkok to Dhaka from Suvarnabhumi. If you land at Don Mueang, allow at least four hours to transfer by road and check in again. On separate tickets you clear Thai immigration and collect your bag, so you need a Thai visa. See Bangkok to Dhaka flights.
It depends on the airline: Changi has four terminals and airlines move between them. Your booking shows the terminal; the free Skytrain links Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
General
The clock moves one hour back on landing in Thailand (Thailand is UTC+7). Neither side uses daylight saving, so the gap stays the same all year.
Yes; see Singapore to Dhaka flights. Going via Bangkok is worth it if you want a few days in Thailand on the way home.
What's included
It depends on the airline. Scoot, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air are low-cost carriers whose basic fares include only a cabin bag, so add checked baggage when you book. The full-service airlines normally include a checked bag; the allowance is shown on your booking.
Visa & documents
Singapore citizens are on Thailand's 30-day visa-exemption list from 15 September 2026. Foreign residents of Singapore should check their own passport on the Thai e-Visa portal. Everyone files the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card first.
Stay & facilities
On the full-service airlines, request a Muslim (halal) meal when you book or at least 24 hours before departure through the airline's manage-booking page. On Scoot, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air, meals are bought online or on board; check the menu for halal options.
