Krabi to Singapore flight guide
Krabi to Singapore is a nonstop Scoot flight of about 1 hour 40 minutes and 932 km from Krabi International Airport (KBV) to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). It is the direct way from Krabi's beaches to Singapore, for Singapore residents heading home and for travellers connecting onward through Changi.
Scoot is the only airline on the route and is low-cost. The basic fare includes a cabin bag; checked baggage, seats and meals are extras. Because Scoot is part of the Singapore Airlines group, you can book onward connections from Changi on one ticket and have bags checked through.
Krabi International Airport is east of Krabi Town. Ao Nang is roughly 40 minutes away by taxi or shared minivan. From Railay, take a longtail boat to Ao Nang beach first and leave a buffer, since the boats depend on tide and weather. Coming from Koh Lanta or Koh Phi Phi, book the ferry or minivan the day before.
Changi has four terminals plus the Jewel complex, linked by the Skytrain. Changi Airport MRT station (CG2) connects to Tanah Merah, where you change to the East West Line towards Tuas Link for the city, or to Expo for the Downtown Line. The first train runs at 5:31 am (5:59 am on Sundays and public holidays), and the last connection towards the city leaves at 11:18 pm.
Taxis wait at all four terminals, 24 hours a day. Changi Airport quotes about 30 minutes and S$25 to S$45 on the meter to the city, plus an airport surcharge of S$6, or S$8 from 5 pm to midnight, and a 50 per cent surcharge from midnight to 6 am. Buses 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858 also serve the terminals.
Bus stops differ by terminal. At Terminals 1 to 3 they are in the basement bus bays; at Terminal 4, buses 24, 34, 36 and 110 stop next to Car Park 4B, while 27, 53 and 858 stop near the SATS Inflight Catering Centre.
All travellers clearing immigration in Singapore must submit the SG Arrival Card within three days before arrival, counting the arrival day. It is free through the ICA website or the MyICA app; ICA warns against paid third-party sites. Transit passengers who stay airside are exempt. Visa needs depend on nationality; see our Singapore visa page.
Singapore is one hour ahead of Thailand all year. An afternoon departure from Krabi lands in Singapore in the early evening.
Krabi's dry season runs from about November to April. Singapore has rain all year, heaviest from November to January.
For the reverse flight, non-Thai nationals file the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online at tdac.immigration.go.th within three days before landing; Royal Thai Embassy guidance says arrivals without it will not be processed. Ao Nang is about 40 minutes from the airport.
Arriving late is common on evening Scoot flights. Bus fares need a contactless card or exact cash, as no change is given, and most bus and MRT services stop overnight, so check the timings before you land. Taxis are the fallback after the last train at 11:18 pm.
Changi has flights to cities across Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. Our Dhaka to Singapore flights page covers one South Asian link, and the Dhaka to Bangkok flights page shows the usual route into Thailand from that region.
