Multiple airlines land at Suvarnabhumi (BKK), and Thai AirAsia lands at Don Mueang (DMK). Air Premia, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Thai VietJet Air, Trinity Airways and Thai AirAsia price the seat alone, so add checked bags and meals at booking; Korean Air, Asiana and Thai Airways include them. Thai AirAsia's service was listed to end on 25 October 2026 and Eastar Jet was due to return the same day, so confirm who flies your date.
The AREX Airport Railroad runs from Seoul Station to both terminals. The Express train takes about 43 minutes to Terminal 1 and about 51 minutes to Terminal 2, and the All-Stop train takes roughly an hour. Korean Air and SkyTeam partners use Terminal 2 and most other airlines Terminal 1, so get off at the right stop.
Every foreign traveller completes the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before landing. It is free on tdac.immigration.go.th, opens three days before arrival, and is required with or without a visa.
On 15 September 2026, Thailand replaced its 60-day visa exemption with a 30-day exemption covering 60 countries and territories. South Korea was not named in the announcement, so Korean passport holders should check their category on the Thai e-Visa portal before booking. Our Thailand visa page explains the routes.
Suvarnabhumi lies about 25 km east of central Bangkok. The Airport Rail Link reaches Phaya Thai in about 27 minutes and meets the BTS Skytrain; Makkasan has an MRT Blue Line link. Metered taxis and Grab wait outside arrivals. Many Seoul flights land late at night, when taxis are the practical choice.
Golfers and beach visitors heading straight to the east coast can take bus 389 to Pattaya from Exit 8 on the first floor between 10:00 and 18:00 for 130 baht.
The A1 and A2 airport buses leave from Gate 6 of Don Mueang's international terminal for 30 baht: the A1 to Mo Chit 2 via BTS Chatuchak until 23:59, and the A2 to Victory Monument until 22:00. The SRT Red Line runs to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal for the MRT Blue Line.

General

What's included
It depends on the airline. Visa & documents
It depends on your passport. Thailand's new 30-day exemption covers 60 countries and territories from 15 September 2026, and South Korea was not named in the announcement, so check the Thai e-Visa portal. All foreign arrivals file the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card.
Cancellations & changes

Stay & facilities
On the full-service airlines, request a Muslim (halal) meal when you book or at least 24 hours before departure through the airline's manage-booking page. On Air Premia, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Thai VietJet Air, Trinity Airways and Thai AirAsia, meals are bought online or on board; check the menu for halal options.
