Suvarnabhumi is about 25 km east of central Bangkok, 27 minutes from Phaya Thai on the Airport Rail Link. The flight may board at SAT-1, the satellite concourse with 28 gates, reached from the main terminal by an automated train through a tunnel of about one kilometre. Allow time for the transfer after passport control.
Terminal 1 and the Haramain railway at King Abdulaziz
Saudia operates from Terminal 1 at King Abdulaziz International Airport, north of the city. The terminal has 46 international and domestic gates and is connected to the Haramain High Speed Railway, whose station is built into the main terminal building.
From the airport station, trains run directly to Makkah and Madinah without a change, which makes it the easiest route for pilgrims heading to the Haram. The station's listed hours are 06:30 to 00:30 daily, and buses, shuttles and taxis serve it too. The separate Jeddah city station at Al Sulaymaniyah in the An Nassim district is about 17 km from the airport station by rail.

Clearing Thai immigration on separate tickets from Dhaka
Biman, US-Bangla and Thai Airways land at Suvarnabhumi from Dhaka (see our Dhaka to Bangkok flights page), and the Jeddah flight leaves from the same terminal. On separate tickets you clear Thai immigration and check in again, so you need permission to enter Thailand and a completed Thailand Digital Arrival Card.
