Emirates and Vietnam Airlines are full-service, with bags and meals included. Thai VietJet Air and Thai AirAsia price the seat alone, so add checked baggage when you book. Thai Airways International is scheduled to resume the route on 1 December 2026.
Rail Link to Suvarnabhumi, buses or Red Line to Don Mueang
Suvarnabhumi is 27 minutes from Phaya Thai on the Airport Rail Link. For Don Mueang, the A1 bus from Mo Chit 2 via BTS Chatuchak and the A2 from Victory Monument cost 30 baht, and the SRT Red Line runs from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal.
Vietnam e-visa fees and 90-day stays
Vietnam has offered e-visas to citizens of every country since 15 August 2023. The e-visa allows stays of up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, and the official portal, evisa.gov.vn, lists fees of 25 US dollars for single entry and 50 for multiple. Processing usually takes three to five working days, and the fee is not refunded if the visa is refused. Some nationalities enter visa-free, so check your own passport before applying, and use only the government portal.
Da Nang's two terminals, close to the city
Da Nang International Airport is about 3 to 5 km from the city centre, one of the closest airports to any city in the region. It has two terminals, T1 for domestic and T2 for international flights, joined by a pedestrian walkway, which makes a connection to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City simple.
Taxis wait outside the arrivals halls and are the usual way into town; Danabus city buses also serve the airport. Hotels on My Khe beach are about 15 minutes by car. Hoi An Ancient Town is about 29 km away, around 45 minutes by road, and Hue about 98 km.
Which Da Nang flights match a Dhaka arrival
Biman, US-Bangla and Thai Airways land at Suvarnabhumi from Dhaka (see our Dhaka to Bangkok flights page). The Emirates, Thai VietJet Air and Vietnam Airlines flights leave from that same airport; the Don Mueang flights mean crossing Bangkok and checking in again, so leave at least four hours. On separate tickets, entering Thailand requires the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card.

Yes. Fly Dhaka to Bangkok on Biman, US-Bangla or Thai Airways, all of which land at Suvarnabhumi, then take one of the Da Nang flights. Booking both legs on one Thai Airways ticket, where available, keeps you airside with your bag checked through. Two separate tickets mean clearing Thai immigration, which needs a Thai visa.
